Practical preparation for the crossing between incarceration and community life, supporting participants as they plan for relationships, education, employment, belonging, and the realities of reentry.
Program purpose
Reentry is not a single moment. It is a process of preparing, reconnecting, learning, and adapting. The Bridging Program helps participants consider the practical realities of transition before release and connects them with reliable resources and support once they are on the other side of that gate.
It also creates space for participants and their loved ones to explore the emotional impact of institutionalization, including changes that may only become clear after release. By encouraging understanding, communication, and thoughtful planning, the program supports each person’s individual pathway home.
Program structure
This is self-directed learning. There is no required completion time. Participants can pause, reflect, and return to the material as needed.
